Support York County Libraries is a community- driven group of library patrons united by a shared belief in the vital role libraries play in a thriving, informed, and inclusive society. As York County continues to grow, we are committed to ensuring that our library system receives the funding and support it needs to keep pace with our population and meet the evolving needs of all residents.

We advocate for sustained and appropriate investment in our libraries so they can offer modern facilities, expanded collections, and equitable access to resources. We stand firmly against the influence of extreme political agendas that threaten to undermine the mission and integrity of public libraries.

Our vision is simple: libraries that remain free, welcoming, and inclusive spaces for everyone regardless of background, identity, or belief. By organizing and raising our voices, we aim to protect these essential institutions and secure a strong future for public libraries in York County.
